PlainRecords republishes public government recall records (United States: FDA, CPSC, NHTSA; Canada: Health Canada and Transport Canada, under the Open Government Licence – Canada; United Kingdom: OPSS, FSA and MHRA, under the Open Government Licence v3.0) for information only. It is not legal, medical or safety advice. The site is published by Youngrok Kim, an independent publisher in the Republic of Korea.

Records can be incomplete or out of date, and brand matching is automatic. Always check the official agency notice and the manufacturer before acting on a recall.

Recall text on this site is the agency's own record. Brand pages group recalls by the company named in the agency record; categories are made with automated tools and can contain mistakes. Where anything on this site and the official agency notice differ, the agency notice governs.
