What Transport Canada says
Subject engines may experience a loss of the governor servo pin. This would result in the Engine And vehicle continuing at their respective speeds until a change in load occurs (I.e. Terrain, brakes or clutch) And Engine braking could be reduced with a subsequent increase in stopping distance And the risk of a crash. Correction: the governor rack servo cylinder assembly will be replaced on affected engines.
